Katy and Ros have – between them – been performing for over 50 years! Originally from the worlds of theatre and dance, they came together in 2022 to form Suited Storytellers.
Ros has acted, directed and written for theatre and has an MA in ‘Staging Shakespeare’. Katy has performed, taught and choreographed, and specialises in creating dance for site-specific and unusual spaces. She is also a poet.
They have a passion for oral tradition storytelling, with its immediacy and connection to its audience, and are committed to keeping these ancient skills alive. But they are also willing to challenge some of its conventions in order to bring freshness and vibrancy to the stories they tell.
They can be found – separately and together – telling tales in libraries, theatres, museums, pubs, at festivals and fairs, and whilst walking the dog!

“Powerful, relevant and witty. Masterfully-crafted storytelling…”
— Audience member, Barnstaple Fringe Theatrefest 2023
